| I should apply, I played goalie when I was a kid haha. Actually been playing it again recently with some friends in pick up games and a bit of beer league stuff, whenever their usual goalie can't make it. It's fun getting to play a bit again. | |

| Looks like Edmonton is in talks with Buffalo about either Vanek or Miller? | |

| Even if they get either of those guys, they'd both probably leave at the end of the year to test unrestricted free agency... | |

| Miller also has a limited NTC and can pick up to 8 teams he doesn't want to be traded to. I read that yesterday. Wouldn't be surprised if EDM was one of those 8. Edit: And of course right after I write that, I go to TSN.ca and see an article by LeBrun that says the Oilers are one of the 8 teams... haha. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=434353 | |

| If I ever had an NTC like that, There would be 23 teams on it, take a stab at where they are lol | |

| But really, Reimer is a ufa next year, i would like to see him traded, hopefully he can play well enough to warrant a decent prospect, dunno why edmonton wouldnt take a run at him instead of a miller, they could probably resign him to an affordable contract | |

| I think Edmonton needs an elite goalie. Reimer is pretty average, and not what they need, IMO. | |

| Of course they do, every team needs or wants an elite goalie lol, plu Reimer is decent though, and would give them a chance to win most nights, and he's probably about the best that's available, dunno what other goalies would be on the market | |

| Could go after one of Anderson/Lehner in Ottawa, Hiller/Fasth in ANA, or Harding (although he's similar to Reimer in that he's probably not good enough).
Or could always take a run at Lundqvist in the off-season... haha.

| Edmonton needs some good defense even better, at least a group or a coaching staff that can implement one. A top 6 power forward would also be ideal, especially a centre. A guy like O'Rielly would be a huge boost for them. Their top 6 is all too similar of players | |

| Even Perron's playstyle is totally new to our top 6. Someone who actually goes to dirty areas, gets in people's grills, plays a hard game... So good to see. Already well-worth Pajaarvi and a 3rd.
Super sexy tic-tac-tac-toe play against Phoenix today. Perron -> Ebs -> Schultz -> RNH back post -> Perron opposite back post for the tap-in. So good.

| Big round of applause for Arcobello fucking up a chance alone 1 on 0 with Smith, and following it up with a highstick that led to the GWG. | |
