I was at the game tonight, and they didn't show a replay at all until the intermission. Canucks and their damn propaganda.

The one thing that has concerned me so far this season is the lack of playing with a lead. We've trailed every single game we've played this year, except for a few times during games. Oh and our PP looks pretty bad to start so far.

I actually think our PP has been pretty dangerous in most of the games, just hasn't found the back of the net... and we haven't really gotten that many opportunities to play with the man advantage. We've had 20 PP opportunities in 7 games, that's not even 3 a game. And some of those are shortened.

Well the Canucks played really well today against Pittsburgh. Hopefully we actually start getting more than 1 PP a game at some point soon, that would be nice.

Needz more Shinkaruk. I can't remember the last time I've seen the Canucks dress so many new/random players. It's not even like we have a ton of injuries. We have 2 injured forwards and it really shows how this team has zero depth at forward.

We have our best 3 players on our top line and then it's just the Mike Santorelli show and a whole lot of nothing with some spurts from Higgins and Richardson thrown in. This team's a mess up front. I feel like we might as well just do this and give the kids a chance... won't happen, but the team would probably be better off overall.

Booth and Weise are both hurt....they left the game today.

I PVR'd the game and my PVR fucked up and only recorded most of the first period then nothing, so I had to skip to the live shootout after that. What happened?

I dunno I missed the first 30 minutes so I just heard John and John talking about it.

Booth got hit by Zidlicky or something, not sure what happened to Weise.

Weise got hurt by a hip-to-hip check.

They both got hurt by fairly weak body checks. I fucking wish Booth wasn't injured this off-season so we could have bought him out. Guy is fucking useless.

I don't think they would have bought him out tbh, I think upper management really likes what he brings with the fancy stats and all.

He doesn't bring anything. He can't read the play in any way, shape, or form. All he does is drive to the net and shoot, and this year he's not even doing that well.

His Corsi and Scoring Chance differential is pretty good from what I remember reading on CA. Also draws most penalties on the team.

I know you said fancy stats, and David Booth is a prime example of how fancy stats don't tell the whole story.
