The hit on Backstrom is brutal. Nothing too bad with the one on Granlund but I think at that point the refs had just had enough of him and wanted him out of the game. I think he'll get suspended for the Backstrom hit.

Aaaaaand he got 3 games for hitting Backstrom. Leafs are now without their top 3 centers LOL.

The hit on granlund was a fuckin joke, he got mostly body, and body first, it shouldny even have been penalized.
The one on backstrom i can agree with, and i think he only gets 2 games for it if he doesnt get the major for the granlund hit, it was stupid.

The Granlund hit has nothing to do with this suspension... Shanahan suspended him for the Backstrom hit. There was nothing wrong with his hit on Granlund, lol.

Theyve tacked on extra games for stupid shit in the past Just because they dont publicly say it, doesnt mean they dont
Its like how if granlund didnt get right back up and was hurt, they probably would have given kadri more than 3
He shoulda got 2 for the hit on backstrom, isnt that what whatsis face got for hitting miller
